I began my formal training on the "east side"—Lancaster, Pennsylvania to be exact. While attending Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, I cut my design teeth on courses like typography and digital design production. As my skills grew, so did my body of work—as I took a giant leap to the Empire State working for a design agency that produced mainly digital content, along with plenty of print design!
After working for a variety of larger corporations and startups, I joined automätik in 2014 and have been churning out the bits and bytes ever since, first at their HQ in Phoenix, AZ and then remotely from my new home in Richmond, VA. Over the years I have also worked as a freelance designer, with projects ranging from mobile app designs and redesigns, branding packages, and web design to development.
I like to unplug when I'm off the clock, by exploring my new city with my husband and our border collie Eta. When I'm not perusing the flora and fauna of Virginia, I design hand-made jewelry and crochet, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, “in real life” as the web crowd would say.
If you are looking for an upbeat, positive designer with a go-getter attitude for your next project (or your company), please feel free to email me.
